World’s first deep game creation engine for SLG’s secures innovation funding!

+ADD Strategy (an innovation agency), and Enginuity (A national awarding body), have beaten over 200 organisations to secure funding to create an MVP for BrightGame. The platform promises to shake up the game-based learning market, offering creators such as teachers and trainers the opportunity to create deep games expressing complex real-world processes.

The funding body UFI (Universities for Industry) is an expert in selecting and supporting learning technologies that have potential to develop and improve UK learning in both formal and vocational settings.

Uniquely BrightGame offers a proven game design archetype that has been used to create a range of learning games. In addition, game creation is simple and requires no gamification of learning expertise. The platform will be hosted online and available for teachers, trainers, consultants and learning professionals to build libraries of games for tutor support, knowledge management, edutainment and even formative assessment!

Paul Sutherland, the inventor of BrightGame and Founder of SkillsPlay said;

‘We are delighted to be working with sponsors Enginuity to demonstrate the potential of the BrightGame game-based learning platform. Our initiative will see us working to create games for knowledge capture and best practice skills retention in Aerospace! We decided to pick a tough subject to demonstrate any real-world process can be expressed in a learning game’

 The fund has supported a range of innovations and these will be on display at a showcase on the 17th of November in London. To find out more go to https://weekofvoctech.co.uk/thursday/ufi-voctech-showcase-2022
